Here is a note from Paul Lichau regarding the State S&E schedule for the Northern Michigan University site on March 18 that was posted on the state website:
Dear Directors in Districts 13 & 14,
I have been advised of the problems created by scheduling the Northern Michigan University site to start at 8:00 AM. In talking with Matt Ludwig, the Site Chair, we have decided to adjust the schedule by starting one hour later. Unfortunately, we can not re-do or re-print the schedule so we are asking you to just add one hour to the published times. If an event is scheduled for 8:16 AM - it will perform at 9:16 AM etc. throughout the entire day. Adjudicator breaks and meals will also be adjusted by 1 hour.
It is important that you communicate this with your students and parents so that they are aware of this adjustment. Include a note with any printed materials that you distribute to your students, parents and accompanists. You should also make sure that your transportation folks know about this change.
